A private note.
An honest promise.
You don’t need an account to send a note. Here’s what your friend can see, and what keeps this a kind place.
Your name stays off the note.
The recipient sees your message and any codename you choose, rather than a sender account. What you write can still identify you, so only share what you’re comfortable sharing. Messages may be downloaded or shared by their recipient.
Time capsules keep the words inside sealed.
Before launch, a reserved postbox shows its whisper count, envelope codenames, seal tags and timestamps publicly. The message inside stays private until our shared launch, even if the creator activates early. Choose a codename and seal that don’t identify you. The launch date is coming soon.
Your Founding Pass belongs to you.
Your reservation email stays private. Sign in with its verified email to edit your postbox and see your stamps. Referral progress is private, and each invited creator must verify a distinct account before their invitation counts. Sharing a link alone earns no reward.
Anonymous doesn’t mean untraceable.
The recipient may unlock broad clues such as your device operating system, browser family and the hour your note was sent. These aren’t your exact identity. We ask you to acknowledge this before sending.
A little safety behind the scenes.
The service uses a hashed network and browser fingerprint to help limit spam and block abusive senders. Broad device and time clues are stored with messages. Visit counts help creators understand their links. These controls do not require sender sign-up.
Kindness is part of the postage.
Recipients can pause their inbox, filter words, report notes and block senders. A successful submission can be filtered by their safety settings. Don’t send threats, harassment, hate or someone else’s private information.
Keep sensitive details out.
Never include passwords, bank details or information you wouldn’t want shared. When you add a gift, payment details are entered on Paystack’s checkout. Your payment email is used for the receipt and stays off the anonymous note.
A gift can send a little heads-up.
Recipients can opt in to email alerts for confirmed cash gifts in the app. These alerts leave out the message and sender clues. Free notes don’t trigger emails, and recipients can unsubscribe at any time.
